JoyRide has 250+ trucks, 850 trailers, and 250 drivers covering multiple states. It has a very specific business model that’s centered around regional and local runs, and strives to have drivers home every other night. The company was started in 2014 by an immigrant from Bosnia. All power units are late model 2020 Freightliner and Kenworth tractors pulling plated, food grade 2020 53’ high cube dry vans. It’s the first U.S. regional trucking company to operate fully electric sleeper trucks.
