Run on Less 2017

In September 2017, NACFE worked with seven fleets and numerous supporting suppliers to stage a demonstration of great drivers with specified production level tractors and trailers. For 17 days, NACFE monitored these vehicles via a dedicated telematics link to determine a benchmark for best-in-class fuel economy. The results surprised many in the industry and proved that there are improvements that most all fleets can implement if they adopt the right technologies.
